Palm House Museum & Visitors Center
212 East Main Street
Built in 1873, Swedish immigrant Andrew J. Palm and his wife raised their eight children in this two-room home. Moved to its present location in 1976, this landmark features exhibits on Round Rock's history and Swedish roots. The visitor's center provides helpful information about Round Rock, as well as surrounding areas.

Walk Historic Downtown

Visit the "Round Rock"
Once used as a low-water crossing for early settlers, the round rock still stands proud today in Brushy Creek. In 1851, Brushy Post Office was established to serve the area. However, in 1854 the name was changed to Round Rock after it was discovered the name "Brushy " was already taken.

Join the Round Rock Express, Double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, as they swing into action every spring at the Dell Diamond. Owned in part by baseball legend Nolan Ryan, and managed by his son Reid Ryan, the Express is considered one of the best minor league baseball programs in the country. The Dell Diamond accommodates 11,500 fans and features fantastic baseball, a pool and hot tub, sport court, obstacle course and rock climbing.
